T.I.E.R (Try Interpret Explain React)

An academic study on developing a self-interacting game world that leverages a scripted state machine.

This project was developed on many Open Source Libraries and standards including support for the COLLADA file standard.

Genetic Animation

This is an evolutionary system that generates walk cycles. A population of 10 bots with random movements "learn" to walk after many generations of preserving beneficial mutations.

Ray Tracer

This ray tracer was written from the ground up. The only outside library was Open GL and it was used for display only.

Shaders

Renderman SLIM Shaders for car paint and shadows. Lighting was captured on location using an HDR Probe (High Dynamic Range) .

A scripting language designed for children that teaches basic programming concepts. It allows them to create simple games while learning the concepts behind computer programming.
